Our team of Medical Lab Technologists performs tests on blood and other body fluids, interpret the results, and help provide a complete picture of a patient’s health. Using modern biomedical equipment and complicated analysis, that provides information to aid in the detection of cancer; identify infectious viruses and bacteria, and measure glucose, cholesterol, or drug levels in blood. The Wayne County Hospital is certified through the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA).
